Kitchen Door Food Pantry
Kitchen Door Food Pantry is a ministry of the Moravian Church in Egg Harbor City. Zion supports this ministry by collecting non-perishable food on an ongoing basis. Donations may be placed in the shopping cart in the atrium.
Family Promise of Atlantic County
Zion is a supporting congregation of the Atlantic County Chapter of Family Promise. Pastor Kathleen serves on the Family Promise Board.
An NA group meets at Zion every Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Zion members support this group by taking turns to open the building and be present during the meeting time.
For 60+ years women from a variety of Egg Harbor City churches have met at Zion to sew and assemble quilts. Each year they make several hundred quilts which are distributed by Lutheran World Relief to people in need all over the world. Sewing Ladies meet on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 a.m. – noon. All are welcome and sewing experience is not required. (The group also welcomes donations of cotton quilt fabrics, sheets, yarn, and thread.)
